Imagined Images Editions is a small publisher based in Edinburgh, Scotland,
specialising in photography books.
We are a publisher of mainly printed photography books; we firmly believe that photography is primarily a printed medium and that a photograph doesn't truly exist until it has been printed. Nevertheless, we do from time to time produce e-book editions of some of our titles a few years after the printed edition. In such cases, we offer the e-book edition for FREE to buyers of the printed edition of the book. This offer is only available if you buy directly from our website.
The Early Days of a Better Nation by Stewart Bremner will be published on 7 April 2015. It is available for pre-order now; orders placed before 7 April will be despatched on or after 7 April.
Discounts & Postage Costs: Ever since we started selling books online, we have always offered a discount off the cover price along with free postage worldwide. However, in recent years postage costs have gone up substantially while our profit margins have stayed much the same. For this reason, it has become no longer sustainable for us to offer free postage for heavy items like books. Regrettably therefore, from 5 January 2015, we will be charging a flat £2.00/€3.00 fee for p&p, regardless of how many books you buy or what destination you want them despatched to. At this price, we can just about cover our costs for sending a single book to a UK address - in every other situation, customers will still be receiving a significant subsidy on postage. In addition, due to increasing pressures on our profit margins, we will no longer be able to offer discounts on a regular basis. In any case, customers will justifiably feel cheated if the discounted price plus postage ends up being more than the full cover price anyway.
Until 5 January 2015, however, you can still take advantage of our discounts plus FREE postage worldwide, so act quickly during the festive season!

You can order any of our titles on this site through the
secure payment centre (you do not need to have a PayPal account).
There is a flat £2/€3 postage and packaging charge, regardless of size of order
or despatch destination. Items are sent by airmail to
countries in the European Economic Area and by surface mail to all other
countries.
